Double A-side Single #17

Cover songs are always an interesting thing. Sometimes they are done so well that most people know the cover version better than the original or don’t even know the original at all. Though the latter part of that statement may not apply to one of the songs today, the cover was so well done that it certainly became a signature song for the interpreting artist. I can only imagine how much fun it would have been to see Joe Cocker live in the late ’60s and early ’70s. Shout out to my sister, Shelley, for her input on the selections today.
