When I started my current job 14 years ago, I had a mentor named Dennis, and he taught me many of the skills that still use in my work everyday. We discussed music quite a bit as we got to know each other through the years, and I remember him asking me if I had ever heard the Lee Michaels’ album 5th. Neither the artist nor the album sounded familiar at the time. When I finally got a chance to listen to it, it was something I dug immediately. As I looked through the track listing, I saw a song called “Do You Know What I Mean.” Seeing that title started a song in my head I remember hearing as a kid and, when the song finally came on, it was exactly the one I was thinking of. Unbeknownst to me, I guess I did know a 10th of 5th.
