While catching up with my buddy Brian earlier this year, he mentioned that he was looking forward to an upcoming album by Offspring, a band I really hadn’t thought about or heard much from in a long time. He suggested that I check out one of their more recent albums that he really dug and let him know what I thought. Though I didn’t particularly care for the record he recommended, revisiting the band brought back a flood of memories from the time of one of their biggest albums, Smash, a record I ended up reexploring as well.
