Once I got my footing and really established myself in Los Angeles, I was fortunate enough to befriended some people that were either born here or had lived here most of their life. With L.A. being the town it is, it didn’t take long to start hearing stories about the famous people my friends used to go to school with, the famous people they lived by, etcetera, etcetera. Me being from where I was in Michigan, that kind of stuff was definitely foreign to me. About the only connection I had to anything like that was that my mom happened to go to high school with Wally Palmer of The Romantics, something that still gets brought up to this day.
