Double A-side Single #268

While I was listening to some music this past weekend, a song started playing that had a lot of bass drum pedal squeaks. It’s funny how many songs from back in the day have this noise. My understanding is that, in many of these cases, the known culprit is a particular pedal by Ludwig called the Speed King, also affectionately dubbed the “Squeak King” because of this issue. The song I was listening to got me thinking about other songs I knew with a squeaky pedal, and this Led Zeppelin song was at the top of the list. The song by Deep Purple was a direct line from there, sans the squeaks.
