Yesterday was a good day. After finding out the night prior that the Smashing Pumpkins had announced a tour with Jane’s Addiction, I reached out to a buddy of mine to see if he’d be interested in going, and he and his wife were emphatically on board. I’ve seen the Pumpkins seven times, but I’ve never seen Jane’s Addiction before, so I’m definitely geeked for this show. The cherry on top is that they’re playing at one of my favorite venues too, the Hollywood Bowl. Now it’s just a matter of waiting until November.
