Apple’s iTunes Store used to sell what they called iTunes LPs. Instead of just purchasing and downloading songs, you could buy this iTunes LP package that included additional things like lyrics, photos, videos, etc., all set up similarly to a DVD or Blu-ray menu. The idea was to try and recreate the album buying experience digitally. Though a long-term failure, for a while I was charged with testing these iTunes LP packages to ensure they functioned properly before going to market. One of the earliest ones I remember working on was for the album Doo-Wops & Hooligans by Bruno Mars, which is how he originally came to my attention.
