A tour called Happy Together came up in conversation with a coworker a couple of days ago. It’s a tour featuring various acts from the 1960s, some of which include The Turtles, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, and The Cowsills. My coworker had attended the show down in Orange County at the Pacific Amphitheater, describing it as a bit of a mixed bag. All of the bands’ members are well into their seventies at this point, if not older, so it sounded like the performances and energy sometimes rode that wave. One band that he said sounded great, however, was The Association.
