A lot of classical music has come across my desk over the last five years or so. While I enjoy some classical music, I was never really that familiar with the performers or conductors, just the composers themselves and their pieces. Every once in a while, though, I would recognize a performer’s name from hearing it mentioned in the past, one of which was Itzhak Perlman. As I was listening to a record of his where he performed Béla Bartók’s Violin Concerto No. 2, I heard a familiar sound. One that I had first heard in a song by Dr. Octagon.
