The criteria to get into a Hall of Fame always seems to go a bit unstated. I think people know what a Hall of Famer looks like when it’s obviously, but where is that line of demarcation between getting in and not? My buddy Carlos and I have discussed this on occasion, specifically as it relates to sports, but I think it’s possible to establish a Hall of Fame baseline for music as well. I won’t get into my criteria for that now, but based on my thinking, Elton John is knocking at the door. Further research is needed though.
