Every once in a while, when my dad would be practicing guitar or bass in our basement, I’d sit and listen to him play or play along with him on drums. One time, I remember watching him work on a song and trying to figure how a particular part went by playing along on a keyboard. Once he figured it out, he was absolutely thrilled. For the longest time since, I could hear that part in my head but couldn’t recall the actual tune it was from. Today, however, I finally received the answer to this mystery that has been long overdue: “But It’s Alright.”
