Double A-side Single #26

It’s funny how thinking of one song or seeing the title of it can make you think of another. Carole King is an artist that I’ve been wanting to do for a little while now, but it was tough to pick a song because she has many great ones, both as a performer and as a songwriter. When I finally settled on the one today, and though I know it well, I actually started to immediately sing the other song pick for today in my head. The best part is that I honestly hadn’t thought about or heard the second song in quite awhile. What a treat.

P.S. Though Wikipedia and a couple of other personal websites I found mention that “Too Late To Turn Back Now” was originally released as a single in 1970, there were no citations for this. I also could not locate any hard evidence, e.g. scans of the 45 single from 1970, to verify the accuracy of this information. Any hard evidence I found of its release was from 1972. Though the original release may have very well been 1970, without being able to verify this, I have listed it as released in 1972.
