Double A-side Single #55

The first Wilson Pickett album I ever worked on was one called The Midnight Mover. It definitely caught my attention and I really hoped at the time that I would get a chance to work on more. I never would have expected, however, that I’d be fortunate enough to work on most of Wilson Pickett’s Atlantic Records catalog. It was through this work that I learned that there was much, much more to Wilson Pickett than just “In The Midnight Hour” and “Land Of 1000 Dances.” One of my favorite Wilson Pickett records ended up being Wilson Pickett In Philadelphia. It took me quite a while to find it in one of my local shops, but, when I finally did, I considered it a huge score.
