Last night I went to see the band IDLES at the Fonda Theatre down in Hollywood. The opener was a band called Gustaf, whom I had never heard of prior to this show. They were a fun opening act that really got the crowd going, and I started to check out their album Audio Drag For Ego Slobs this morning. While I was listening to this record, the sound of it made me think of another band, Television, that I first discovered in college. I can’t remember how I came across Television back then, but I bought the album Marquee Moon at the time and it’s been with me ever since.
