Puff Daddy, Puffy, Sean “Puffy” Combs, P. Diddy, or Diddy, regardless of the name he chose to use at various points of his career, he was all over the place in the ’90s and early 2000s. Whether collaborating with usual suspects like The Notorious B.I.G. and Mase, other artists like Nas and Jimmy Page, or doing his own thing, he just seemed to have the Midas touch. When today’s song choice came out, there wasn’t a single person I knew that didn’t dig the tune. It was also one of the first songs I can remember being redone and re-released in a different style (the “Rock Remix I” version), which garnered almost as much attention from my friends and me as the original.
