The other day I came across a video of the band Audioslave doing what looked like a live in-studio performance from the early 2000s. Though the band was mostly on point, Chris Cornell, the lead singer of the group, seemed to be a little bit off. Certainly there are any number of reasons why that could have been, especially considering the kind of range he had as a singer and the wear that might have had on his voice over time, but I really appreciated the fact that he just went for it and gave it everything he could.
