Until I had an opportunity to work on some multi-track tapes for Songs For Beginners, the debut solo album by Graham Nash, I was not familiar with any of his solo work. We only had a handful of songs from the album, but I really got into what I heard. One song on the record we did have a tape for was called “Wounded Bird.” On the accompanying documentation for the song, however, it was listed under the working title “Song For Stephen” (presumably referring to Stephen Stills). I thought that was pretty cool.
