I loved action movies as a kid. And in the ’80s and ’90s, there was certainly no shortage of action stars to choose from. One of the biggest and most successful, of course, was Arnold Schwarzenegger. The first movie of his I saw in the theater was Total Recall, and my dad and I proceeded to see every movie he did after that up through Eraser. So, when a buddy mentioned many years later that there was an album out based on Arnold’s movies, I was very curious to check it out. Admittedly, I was not expecting much beyond it being playful and good for a laugh. While the album definitely hit those marks, I found it far more musically engaging than I was expecting.
