The first movie I can remember seeing with my dad in the theater was The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad! Even for as young as I was, and surely many jokes going over my head at the time, it became one of my favorites to watch repeatedly. One hilarious sequence in the film is when the main character, Frank Drebin, impersonates a Major League Baseball umpire during an Angels’ game, attempting to oust one of the players as an assassin. It was during this part of the movie that I had my first encounter with the music of Randy Newman, who would later pen the signature song for the animated classic, Toy Story.
