For a good year or two, I would consistently go to The Baked Potato to see a band called Volto!, a side project of Danny Carey’s, every time they’d play. At that time, the lead singer/keyboardist was a gentleman named Kirk Covington, who also played a small drum kit in the band, which facilitated some some amazing duets between him and Danny. The group would mostly play original tunes, but a few covers were usually thrown in there to round out the sets. At any given show, you had a pretty good chance of hearing them do this gem by the great Billy Cobham.
