I don’t know if it’s the front cover of this Bobby Charles album, the overall feel of the song that I chose, or a combination of the two, but listening to “Small Town Talk” just makes me think of simpler and quieter times. Another previously unknown discovery as I went about my business at work, I always kept this album in mind when I went record shopping after hearing it. The album still remains on my list of yet to be acquired, but maybe this year will finally be my year.
