I recently saw some advertisements for a couple of movies that I haven’t seen in a while, Stand By Me and Lean On Me. Stand By Me was one of those movies that passed me by until about five or six years ago when some friends made it a point for me to watch it with them. Lean On Me, however, was a movie I used to watch all the time as a kid and never got tired of. Long before seeing either of these great films though, I was well acquainted with their namesakes; it just happened to be in the form of song instead of cinema.
