One of my uncles was really into fishing when I was younger, taking myself and my cousin on a number of early morning expeditions on Lake St. Clair in his small motorboat. Fishing was never something I really pursued on my own as I got older, though I have partaken in a few trips with friends since being in California. As I get older, however, my interest in getting back into it has grown over time, and I’ve started to explore purchasing gear. While looking at some stuff this past weekend, this tune by Tommy James swam around in my head, though it really has nothing to do with fishing.
