The band Porno For Pyros was a subject of discussion last week when I was getting some coffee in the morning with a couple of coworkers. I had mentioned how the first song I ever heard of theirs was “Tahitian Moon,” which was off their second record, Good God’s Urge. One of my coworkers then proceeded to tell us how he was actually at a festival called Q-Fest in Phoenix, AZ in 1993 where Porno For Pyros played a set about three of four days before their first album even came out. Pretty cool.
