Last week, I was notified that some work needed to be done on the quadraphonic version of Deep Purple’s classic album Machine Head. After clearing some other things off my plate throughout the week, I was finally able to get started on it today. There were a few roadblocks that presented themselves in the beginning, but after getting around those, I could just sit back and give the record a listen. One element that really stood out to me in this particular version was how good the bass playing was, especially on the first of today’s songs. Now I’m curious to listen to this again in stereo.
