As I see news of more and more greats passing, whether it be in the world of music or film, I really go back and forth about trying to see some older artists I’ve never seen before live. A couple of considerations always seem to put me on a tightrope between going and not going though. One, now being in their latter years, I wonder if they’ll really sound that good. And, two, will they play enough stuff I really want to hear if most of the stuff I like is older and they’ve continued to put out newer records that I may not care for. One band that’s probably now at the forefront of this debate for me is Aerosmith.
