When I think about some of the greatest bands in rock and roll history, my list tends to be dominated by bands from England. It doesn’t seem that I am alone in this either, as I’ve had many conversations with colleagues and friends that generally come to a similar conclusion. One thing I find interesting about this is that rock and roll did not originate in England but in America, which I guess speaks to how influential different cultures can be on one another and the kind of beauty that can ensue.
