There have been plenty of musical artists that have tried their hand at acting. Some have failed miserably, but there are plenty that have had success, both in major roles and more minor ones. Though certainly in the latter of those two categories, I enjoyed seeing Tricky in the movie The Fifth Element. He played a good henchman, fitting into the movie well and providing some fun comic relief along the way.
