This Lee Hazlewood record just came to my attention at the beginning of this year. I was talking with a buddy of mine about Lee and he asked me if I had ever heard this album, Friday’s Child, which I had not. I only knew some of his later songs because a guy I used to jam with in the late-2000s told me about him and had burned a couple of compilation discs for me to listen to. I remember enjoying them at the time, but it was only recently that I delved in further and decided to check out his first couple of records. This then led to the conversation I mentioned and the love of another album was born. Always a good sign when your 2 1/2 year-old niece asks for a repeat play, too.
