Double A-side Single #89

Today is my grandmother’s 97th birthday. She was always a very big part of my life, babysitting me and my sister almost everyday when we were in grade school and beyond while my parents worked. Every year, we would typically have Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve at her house in Detroit, and it was always a good time filled with card games, plenty of laughs, and a lot of good music. Dean Martin was her favorite artist of all-time, and he regularly serenaded us during these holiday gatherings. It was through her fandom that I first became familiar with Dean Martin’s music, so part of today’s picks goes out to her on her special day. Much love always, grandma.
