Double A-side Single #111

I’ve always enjoyed sports in addition to music. I grew up playing baseball, football, and basketball and running track. My favorites to watch were generally football and basketball, though I got into hockey a little later as well. Despite living in California for as long as I have, I still support my hometown teams from Detroit and try to get to any games I can when they play in L.A. Over the years, there’s been a bit of a tradition at Detroit home games when any of our teams have sealed a victory, and that’s to play Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing,” specifically the first verse that includes the line, “just a city boy born and raised in South Detroit,” which everyone shouts in unison. Of course, Journey has plenty of other great tunes as well.
