The amount of information at everyone’s fingertips these days still blows my mind sometimes. Before the Internet, if you had a song in your head but didn’t know the song title or artist, it might be a rather long time before you actually figured out what it was called or who did it. Now, if you have a lyric or two, you can usually find those pieces of information pretty quickly. I’ll usually still try to rack my brain for a while to see if I can figure it out on my own, but, admittedly, I had to resort to electronic assistance when I wanted to know who did “Day After Day” a little while back.
