Enjoying The Big Lebowski as much as I did and having the background with my mom’s affinity for Kenny Rogers, it was a surreal experience when I had the opportunity to work on the multi-track tapes for some of the albums by the band The First Edition. I was already well acquainted with the song “Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In),” but I ended up enjoying plenty more tunes. I haven’t seen too many of these records when I’ve been out shopping around, though I did manage to pick this one up a number of years ago.
