Double A-side Single #226

Tom Jones is Welsh. Did you know that? I certainly didn’t for the longest time. Listening to his music, I never noticed an accent when he sang. I wonder if that could have been a result of the influence of early rock and roll by artists such as Little Richard and Elvis Presley on the UK music scene. Regardless, between the lack of accent and his name, I just foolishly assumed that Tom Jones was American. Of course, you know what they say about assuming, though I’m guessing he probably won’t make the cut for the reboot of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.
