Double A-side Single #234

The earliest biopic about a musician I can remember seeing was La Bamba. Because I was so young, I didn’t even really grasp that it was a fictionalized story at first; I thought it was basically a documentary. It wasn’t until my dad explained things to me that I realized that movies could have actors portraying real people. I absolutely loved this movie and couldn’t help but watch it anytime it was on. We also had the soundtrack on vinyl, which I played and sang along to all the time in our basement. I’m sure my parents got sick of hearing it endlessly, but, to their credit, I was never asked to turn it down or turn it off.
