I thought of so many different songs or bands to do today it’s not even funny. The hardest part was deciding whether to work in some artists I haven’t gotten to yet or to stick with a couple of old tried-and-trues. I eventually settled on the latter. I’m glad I did too, because in researching the second of today’s songs, I learned that the original version was actually released on The Wailers’ first album, The Wailing Wailers, in a much different form. Interesting to hear how it started, but the Exodus version is still the one for me.
