I watched the first round of the NFL draft last week and waited with bated breath to see who my hometown team, the Detroit Lions, would take, both at the beginning and at the end of the round. Being a long-suffering Lions fan, this was probably one of the most anticipated drafts that I can remember, as the team finally appears to be moving in the right direction. Once the Lions made their picks though, I kind of checked out on watching the rest of the round, so I completely missed that Weezer performed a set to end the round until yesterday. The set was a pretty good one, but I was surprised that they didn’t play anything off one of my favorite albums of theirs, Pinkerton.
