My drum set accompanied me to the dorms when I started college in ’99. I got away with playing them a few times but ultimately had to find an alternate place to my dorm room to set them up. Thankfully, my uncle lived within a couple of miles of where I went to school so he let me set them up in his basement during that first year. If he was out of town or just going to be out and about for a while, I’d head over there with a guitarist friend of mine to jam. During one memorable night, we ended up playing this Eric Johnson tune probably a couple dozen times.
