When it came to the great debate of Coke versus Pepsi, my household was one that favored Pepsi. Of course, living in a suburb of Detroit, there was no shortage of Faygo in the house either. Anytime I went with my dad to the party store and he let me get something to drink, however, that was the time to branch out and try some other options. During these explorations, one soda I came across that became a favorite of mine was Mellow Yellow, and I always thought of the song by Donovan when I picked one up.
