Earlier this week, I mentioned reading the novel Pudd’nhead Wilson by Mark Twain. I don’t know if all publications include this, but the particular copy I have includes a shorter tale called Those Extraordinary Twins, which was an earlier story written by Twain that Pudd’nhead Wilson was essentially derived from, as explained by the author himself. Despite the lyrics of this song by Marvin Gaye and Kim Weston being a completely different context, I kept thinking of this song title as I made my way through this earlier narrative.
