Music, whether it be scores specifically written for a film or released songs chosen as a complimentary soundtrack, can play such a vital role in movies. Quentin Tarantino is a good example of someone who pays very close attention to this, though there are certainly many others throughout the history of cinema. One song that always stuck with me as a perfect compliment to what I was watching on screen was this classic by Santo & Johnny during the closing of the movie La Bamba.
