Growing up in Michigan, I had a lot of experience with hot and humid summers. When I moved out west, I heard a lot of people talk about the heat, often making the argument that it wasn’t that bad because it was a dry heat. While that can be true at times, once the temperature gets to a certain level, it can be a bear to deal with, regardless of how humid it may or may not be. With temperatures well in the 90s again today, this song by The Lovin’ Spoonful has been at the forefront of my mind all day.
